Subway Love

Thinking about what I need to be for me to be all you want out of me.

My mind takes a break from battling regret and love to admire your beautiful body and heavenly glow, my eyes have never seen beauty the likes of yours before.

Together we can conquer my war. I won't have to fear shedding the tears of a clown no more. The way she moves makes the world disappear. When she speaks it makes me believe angels are truly here.

She moves in closer to me. I hesitate, pondering who she wants me to be. I look to see what she sees in me. Once again hesitation provides nothing but pain. She exits the train, the war wages on, life remains the same.

About The Experience

The Mike Lemme experience is a new stage show that I'm working on which will incorporate stand-up, audience interaction, and a band. The first stage show will be performed towards the end of summer.
